I have just returned from the Largest Outdoor / Hunting / Gun show in the entire world! SHOT SHOW 2011! This is my 3rd time to attend, and as always it was so thrilling to actually meet all the manufacturers, and talk about their new products and services for the new year!! I have made lots of friends in the industry in the last few years, and with each show I add to the list of Great people in the Family of the Outdoor Industry that I have grown to love! Jody and Doreen Garrett of Otis Technology, also hosts of Ammo & Attitude Reality Series, really went all out to promote the upcoming 2011 shows, with video clips from the 2010 episodes. They clips ran continuously on GIGANTIC screens surrounding their booth, and several times my face was about 12 feet high!! They also set aside a time on Friday morning for promoting Ammo & Attitude, and I was scheduled to talk to people, and sign autographs!! It was great fun talking to everyone about the show, the competition, and how they felt that promoting women in the outdoors was needed, and although there are several that have already stepped out into the Great Outdoors, there are still so many more to reach out to!
