Why does it have to be so HOT when it is time to PICK all the fruits of your efforts? Although my poor garden has been flooded too many times this season with thermal thunderstorms, it has managed to produce, and keep me busy picking in this Horrible HEAT! This year, with about 27 Jalapeno plants, I hope to put up several jars of "Candied Jalapenos"! My favorite new fad food (although it has lasted for about 4 years) I have to have some in my pantry at ALL TIMES!!
Growing in my Back Yard this year...Green Beans, Eggplant, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Okra, Jalapenos, Boysenberries, Navel Oranges, Figs, Kumquats, Key Lime, Strawberries, Lemons, and Lots of WEEDS!!!
